01. About

Presenting solutions that solve problems (what an organization offers) requires a thorough understanding of what is inside that challenge for a client. A business does not solve a problem it does not grasp, and a company does not buy a service when it does not feel understood.

So, an enormous aspect of effective marketing begins with education. It is necessary to educate internally so a team fully understands the whole of what their company can provide. And, through marketing and communications strategies, an organization must educate their audiences about their solutions and about their familiarity and sympathy for the challenges they face. The overlap of education and marketing is too often underplayed.

02. In Action

As a person with deep roots in education—personally and professionally—I always strive to grow in this area, to be aware of effective educational strategies, and to be responsive to the variety of ways in which different audiences receive messages. I apply best educational practices to as much of my creative and pragmatic messaging as possible. Over time, this approach has also led me to engage with K-12 and college-level markets where I found myself and my teams producing a large number of projects.
