Impact Messaging
FOCUS AREAS: Marketing, Awareness, Fundraising

01. About
Impacting audiences is a core objective of most marketing and educational productions. It is especially important and challenging in the NGO/nonprofit sectors where rewards for tuning in, buying in, and responding to a call to action are often intangible or at least difficult to measure. In this arena, the noise of competing and repeating messages can be profoundly distancing to individuals, as well. A main goal of my impact messaging is to convey ideas with sincerity, integrity, knowledge, and care.
02. In Action
An enormous part of my journey has been striving to make meaningful impacts for service organizations, locally-to-globally. The nonprofit and awareness campaign markets have their own unique needs and challenges, and my familiarity with those has helped me generate highly successful media projects. The level of impact our work has had in this sector is often very measurable, and our results have been through the roof. I believe that is because of our purposeful, deliberate way of listening and learning about a situation and then being able to synthesize the complexity of that reality into messages and stories that are meaningful and clear, that resonate with audiences, and that prompt action. I have an ability to organize information and write content that connects people’s values with topics of importance, and it is profoundly rewarding to be a small part of these organizations’ success.
One of the most profoundly impactful places I have been able to serve is through Rotary and I have been privileged to be involved in several marketing and messaging projects under that umbrella. I continue to serve as both the Public Image Chair and the International Chair of our local Club, as well.
Jonathan, you guys produced nothing short of a stunning, empathetic, wonderful, watchable video. As I observed you that weekend I knew you were working your tails off, but what I couldn’t see was how expertly you not only recorded the kids in their abundance of activities, but questioned them— I’ve always found that pulling meaningful soundbites out of children is one of the toughest things about the job, but you pulled it off. Your video will live a long life for Camp Comfort and Mt. Evans, helping us sustain it financially and helping families see the value of a grief camp for kids. Thank you so much!

A heartfelt thank you, Jonathan. We raised four times our investment level as a result of what you produced. Their hearts were touched.
