KEYS TO SUCCESS: Use of traditional and innovative messaging channels, creative team understanding and buy-in, organizational integrity, willingness to take risks, strong KPIs

01. About

Creating audience impact through engagement, empathy, and understanding is at the core of most not-for-profit and educational campaigns. The result being sought targets a call-to-action that must be made clear, consistent, and accessible to attain results.

It is especially critical in this sector to use both traditional channel offerings based on performance metrics, and at the same time have the courage and wherewithal to apply wise foresight, creative instinct, and trend awareness to reach audiences in ever new and meaningful ways. In most cases, a hybrid application of conventional and innovative solutions is imperative in remaining relevant and connected to these audiences. This requires thoughtful and insightful leadership to guide the strategies and creative content producers along these paths.

02. In Action

A significant part of my career journey has been in the pursuit of making meaningful impacts for service organizations, from local to global in scale. Nonprofit and education markets have their own unique needs and challenges and my deep familiarity with them has helped me realize exceptional, measurable results and success. I believe that is because of my very intentional and purposeful approach in listening to and learning from stakeholders before synthesizing the complexity of their realities into messaging that is meaningful. My work resonates with audiences and that prompts action.
I have an ability to organize information and write content that connects people’s values with topics of importance, and it is profoundly rewarding to be a small part of these organizations’ success.

Jonathan, you guys produced nothing short of a stunning, empathetic, wonderful, watchable video.  As I observed you that weekend I knew you were working your tails off, but what I couldn’t see was how expertly you not only recorded the kids in their abundance of activities, but questioned them— I’ve always found that pulling meaningful soundbites out of children is one of the toughest things about the job, but you pulled it off.  Your video will live a long life for our organization, helping us sustain it financially and helping families see the value of what we do. Thank you so much!

A heartfelt thank you, Jonathan. We raised four times our investment level as a result of what you produced. Their hearts were touched.
